Q: What is the difference between a Exhibitor Guest pass and Staff badge and what does each pass include?
A: Each GDC exhibitor will be allotted a number of Exhibitor Guest passes and Staff badges based on the size of their exhibit space.
Exhibitor guest passes allow access to the GDC Canada Expo and GDC Canada evening events. Expo passes cannot be used to access the GDC show floor prior to the expo or after it closes each afternoon. Expo passes can be distributed to members of your company who will not need access to the show floor outside of expo hours and to clients/partners you would like to invite to the GDC to visit your booth and check out the event.
Staff badges allow access on and off the show floor to set up your exhibit space before the expo opens and to secure it at the end of each day after the expo closes. Staff badges should NOT be given to clients/partners who are not exhibitors at GDC Canada (Expo passes are appropriate) The Staff badge will also allow access to the GDC Canada evening events.
Q: How many Guest passes and Staff badges do I receive for my booth size?
A: The quantity of Expo passes you receive is based on booth size. Review the GDC Expo marketing support tiers here, for the quantity you will receive.
